Χιονοδρομικο Κέντρο Βορά Καιμάκτσαλαν
🇬🇷 Central Macedonia · Greece — Altitude 2000 m
This live stream looks at the northern side of the Kaimaktsalan ski centre, one of the higher ski areas in northern Greece. It is useful for checking whether the slopes are open and what the mountain looks like at this moment. The local weather and time are shown on the page alongside the view.
Kaimaktsalan is the highest peak of the Voras range on the border between Greece and North Macedonia, in the Central Macedonia region. The mountain rises well above the plains around Edessa and Florina and is known mainly for winter sports and for its open, exposed ridges. The ski centre sits at roughly 2000 metres, where the landscape is dominated by conifers, bare slopes and wide views across the border region.
The title names the north ski centre, so the picture is most likely of the pistes and the lift area rather than of the summit itself. Conditions change quickly at this altitude, so the view is most useful in the morning, when visibility is often clearest, and after fresh snowfall, when you can judge how the slopes look. Cloud and fog can cover the mountain for hours, so a grey picture does not always mean the lifts are closed.
Winter is the main season for this area, with snow usually lying from December into spring, though the exact depth varies from year to year. Summer is cooler than the lowlands and can be pleasant for hiking, while autumn and early winter can bring strong winds. Nearby cameras include Melitis in Florina, Naousa and Medzitlija, which give a wider look at the surrounding terrain.
Check the live view and the mountain forecast together before you leave, since temperatures at this height can be well below those in nearby towns. Plan extra time for mountain roads in snow and carry warm layers even on sunny days. The live stream is the best guide to whether conditions justify the trip.

The camera is on the northern side of the Kaimaktsalan ski centre, on the Voras range near the Greek and North Macedonian border in Central Macedonia. The map on the page shows its position.
Winter mornings are usually the most useful, when snow and piste conditions are easiest to see. Watch again after a snowfall to judge coverage, and expect cloud to hide the view on some days.
