This live stream looks over the Kebon Kopi area on the edge of Bandung and Cimahi, one of the most visited highland cities in Indonesia. It suits anyone curious about daily life on the Priangan plateau or planning to check conditions before a trip.
Bandung sits on a volcanic plateau in West Java at roughly 700 metres above sea level, surrounded by volcanoes and tea estates. The city is known for its colonial-era architecture, its university life and its cooler air compared with Jakarta, which is about three hours away by road. The Cimahi area to the west grows more residential and hilly, and the landscape changes quickly from dense streets to green slopes.
The camera is a live video stream, so you see the actual street and sky as they are at the moment. Traffic and activity are usually busiest in the morning and late afternoon, while early mornings often bring clearer views before cloud builds over the hills. Rain showers are common in the wet season, so the view can change within minutes. The stream is provided by its owner and VizCams simply embeds it.
The best months to visit the Bandung highlands are generally the drier period from June to September, when days are mild and skies are more often clear. Expect cool nights year round. Within a short distance you can also watch the Cimindi and Kharisma cameras, as well as the Cimindi bridge camera, to compare conditions across the area before you go.
