Gunungkidul - Titik0KMAlunalunWonosariPTZ
๐ฎ๐ฉ Yogyakarta ยท Indonesia โ Altitude 173 m
This camera looks over the town square of Wonosari, the administrative centre of Gunungkidul regency in the Special Region of Yogyakarta. It is a pan-tilt-zoom feed, so the framing can change over time. Watch it to get a sense of daily life in a regional Javanese town.
Wonosari sits on the limestone plateau that makes up much of Gunungkidul, a region known for karst landscapes, dry hills and caves. The town is the regency seat, so government offices and public buildings are concentrated around its central square. The wider area is a mix of farmland and small villages, and the terrain rises gently into the interior of the plateau at an altitude of around 170 metres.
The stream is a live video feed of the town centre, and the view may change as the camera moves. Activity tends to be busiest in the morning and late afternoon, when people commute, shop and gather. Weather matters a lot here: during the rainy season from roughly November to March, skies can turn grey quickly, while the dry months bring clearer views and strong sunshine.
The climate is tropical, warm year-round, with the most comfortable conditions in the drier months from April to October. Wonosari is reached by road from Yogyakarta, and the trip usually takes a few hours depending on traffic. Other live cameras in the same square and government area are listed on this page, including the AlunAlun Wonosari and Pemda Gunungkidul views.
