Madonna die Campiglio - Groste
🇮🇹 Trentino-South Tyrol · Italy — Altitude 2460 m
This camera looks out over the Grostè area above Madonna di Campiglio, a ski and summer resort in the Brenta Dolomites of northern Italy. Watch the live stream to judge mountain conditions, cloud movement and light before you plan a trip to the high slopes.
Madonna di Campiglio sits in a wide valley of the Trentino part of the Italian Alps, at roughly 1,500 metres, surrounded by the pale limestone peaks of the Brenta group. It is one of the best known resorts in the Alps, long popular with skiers and walkers. The Grostè area lies higher up, at around 2,400 metres, where the landscape turns open, rocky and alpine, with views across the surrounding ridges and valleys.
The stream follows the high mountain terrain, so it is most useful for reading the sky and snow cover rather than for detail on people or buildings. Morning often brings clear air and sharp outlines on the peaks, while afternoon clouds frequently build over the ridges in summer. In winter, fresh snow and wind shifts are easy to spot, and the view changes noticeably with the season and the weather.
Summers are mild and mostly dry, suited to hiking, while winter brings reliable snow and a busy ski season. Conditions at altitude can change quickly, so check the live weather block on this page before heading up. Other cameras nearby include the Grostè chairlift base station, Spinale, Patascoss and Pradalago, which together show different heights and aspects of the resort.
