Kujukuri - 一松海岸潮位監視カメラ
🇯🇵 Chiba · Japan
This camera watches the sea at the Ichimatsu coast in Kujukuri, on the Pacific side of Chiba Prefecture. It is a tide monitoring view, so it is useful for seeing how the water is moving along the shoreline. Use the live player below together with the weather and local time shown on this page.
Kujukuri is a long, gently curved stretch of sandy beach facing the Pacific Ocean, east of Tokyo, in Chiba Prefecture. The coastline is known for its open surf and wide sands, which stretch for many kilometres along the shore. Ichimatsu is one of the local shoreline areas, and the scenery here is mostly sea, sand and low coastal vegetation rather than dense development.
Because this is a tide monitoring camera, the most useful thing to watch is the change of the water level and the waves over time. The view is most interesting around high and low tide, when the shoreline shifts noticeably. Conditions also vary with wind and season, and depending on the view you may notice surf, cloud cover or changes in sea colour. Check the local time on the page to see what part of the day you are watching.
The Kujukuri coast has a mild, humid climate, with warm summers and cool, dry winters. Summer brings the most swimming and surfing activity, while spring and autumn are often clearer for watching the sea. The area is reached by train and road from Tokyo, and the nearby Sammu camera and the Narita temple camera give additional views of the wider Chiba region.
