Krynica zdrój - Góra Parkowa
🇵🇱 Lesser Poland · Poland — Altitude 608 m
This live camera looks out from the wooded hill of Góra Parkowa above Krynica-Zdrój, a spa town in the Beskid Sądecki mountains of southern Poland. Watch the stream to judge the weather over the valley and the hills before you head out.
Krynica-Zdrój sits in a narrow valley of the Beskid Sądecki range in Lesser Poland, at about 600 metres above sea level. It is one of the best-known mineral spa resorts in the country, famous for its mineral springs, historic pump rooms and elegant wooden villas. Góra Parkowa is the park-covered hill rising above the centre, a green spot for walks that gives a wide view over the rooftops and the surrounding forested ridges.
The view is tied to the hill and its landscape, so the most rewarding moments tend to be early morning, when mist may lie in the valley, and late afternoon, when the light softens over the ridges. In winter, snow can change the scene completely, and in autumn the forest colours are the main attraction. Exactly what is in frame depends on the view and the weather at the time you watch.
Summers are mild and pleasant for hiking, while winters are cold and snowy, which suits the nearby ski slopes. Spring can be wet and changeable, so check the live weather before you plan a walk up the hill. The town centre is compact and easy to explore on foot. You can also compare the other cameras in the area, including the promenade view and the lookout tower view over the Beskid Sądecki.
