Poiana Brasov - Vue – Poiana Brasov Teleferic
🇷🇴 Brașov County · Romania — Altitude 1021 m
This live camera looks out over the cable car area of Poiana Brasov, a mountain resort on the slopes of the Postăvarul massif above the city of Brașov. It is useful for checking how the mountain looks right now, whether cloud or snow is sitting on the upper station, and what conditions the lifts are working in.
Poiana Brasov lies about 1,000 metres above sea level in the Southern Carpathians, a short drive from the historic city of Brașov in Transylvania. It grew into Romania's best-known winter resort, with forested hillsides, wide ski runs and a village-style centre. Its setting between pine forest and rounded peaks gives it a calmer feel than the big city below.
The view centres on the cable car and the approach to the upper station, so you can see the lift line and the slopes it climbs. Because the picture is tied to the cable car, the most useful moments are early morning, when the valley is often still in mist, and late afternoon, when the lower slopes fall into shade. Visibility, snow cover and cloud change quickly at this altitude, so a quick look before travelling is worthwhile.
Winters are cold with reliable snow from December into March, which is the main season for skiing and snowboarding. Summers are mild and suited to hiking and mountain biking on the forest tracks. Brașov is about a short drive away and has most of the hotels and restaurants. Nearby cameras on the same resort show the subway lift, the ski pistes and the Gondola Postavaru, which help you compare conditions across the mountain.

Early mornings and late afternoons are often the most revealing, when light and mist change the view most. Winter weekends are busiest on the slopes, so they are good for judging snow and crowds.
