This live stream looks over the harbour at Port de Pollença, the small seaside district of the town on Mallorca's north coast. It is useful for checking how the bay looks before a boat trip or a walk along the front. The picture comes from the source owner and is shown here with a link back to them.
Port de Pollença sits on a sheltered bay on the northern side of Mallorca, a few kilometres from the old town of Pollença. It is known for its long promenade, its marina and its clear, shallow water. The coastline is framed by pine-covered hills, and the atmosphere is relaxed, with many visitors arriving by boat or on foot from the nearby beaches.
The camera is a live harbour view, so the most interesting moments are usually the early morning, when boats leave the port, and the late afternoon, when the light softens over the water. Wind and swell change the look of the bay quickly, so the stream is a good way to judge conditions. Activity tends to peak in the warmer months from late spring to early autumn.
Pollença has a Mediterranean climate with hot, dry summers and mild winters. The best time to visit is from May to June or September to October, when the sea is warm and the crowds are smaller. Nearby cameras cover Cala Sant Vicenç and Playa de Port de, both about two kilometres away, as well as the town itself and Puig de Maria.
