This live camera looks toward Ses Figueretes, the sheltered bay on the southern edge of Eivissa, the old port town of Ibiza. It is a practical way to see how the water and seafront look before you plan a walk or a swim. Use the page to check the local time and conditions at the same moment.
Ses Figueretes sits just south of Eivissa's historic walled town, on the Balearic island of Ibiza in the western Mediterranean. The area is known for its calm, shallow water and a long, fairly sheltered beach that the town uses for everyday relaxation. Behind the seafront the town rises toward its old quarter, which is a UNESCO World Heritage site, so the bay is often a gateway between modern life and centuries of history.
Depending on the view, the stream may show the bay, the shoreline and boats moored or moving nearby. The scene is usually most lively in the late morning and afternoon, when beachgoers and sailing traffic are busiest, and in the early evening, when the light softens over the water. Changes in wind and sea colour are easiest to judge in clear weather, and summer offers the most activity.
Ibiza has a warm Mediterranean climate, with hot, dry summers and mild winters. The best time to visit is late spring and early autumn, when the sea is still warm and the crowds are thinner. Eivissa is compact, so the beach and the old town are easy to reach on foot, and nearby cameras on the island show other coastal and inland views.
