This live camera looks out over Xeraco, a small town on the Costa de Valencia. Open the stream to see the current conditions, then check the local time and weather below before you plan a walk or a day by the water.
Xeraco sits in the Safor comarca, a short drive south of Gandia and a little inland from the sea. It is a quiet place compared with the big resorts nearby, known for its fishing heritage, its sandy coastline and the low hills that rise behind the town. The surrounding plain is farmed with citrus and rice, which gives the area a green, open character year round.
The view is most rewarding in the morning and late afternoon, when the light is softer and the water is calmer. Depending on the angle, you may see waves, boats coming and going, or the flow of people along the shore on warm days. Weekends in summer tend to be busier, while weekday mornings in spring and autumn are often the most peaceful moments to observe.
Xeraco has a Mediterranean climate with mild winters and hot, dry summers, and the sea is usually warmest from late July to September. Spring and autumn are comfortable for walking. Gandia, with its larger station and beaches, is about six kilometres away, and Piles, Cullera and Oliva are the other cameras in the region worth comparing with this one.
