About Cramerton

Cramerton sits just west of Charlotte, along the South Fork of the Catawba River, at an elevation of about 190 metres. The town grew around its historic textile mills, and that industrial past still shapes its streets and riverside character. Rolling hills, pine and hardwood forest, and farmland surround it, giving the area a green, low-key feel that is typical of central North Carolina.
