Jerzens - Hochzeiger Talstation
🇦🇹 Tyrol · Austria
This live camera looks at the valley station of the Hochzeiger lift above Jerzens in the Pitztal area of Tyrol. It is useful for checking how busy the base is and what the mountain looks like before you travel up. The live player is embedded from the source, with local time and weather shown below.
Jerzens is a small village in the Tyrolean Oberland, in the Pitztal valley of western Austria. The valley is known for its glaciers, alpine pastures and ski areas that reach high above the village. Traditional farmhouses sit beside modern lifts, and the surroundings feel quiet and rural compared with the big resorts further east. The Hochzeiger is one of the local mountains that draws visitors from the valley floor.
The view centres on the valley station, so you can see the lift base, the people arriving and the slopes or trails rising behind it. Activity is usually strongest in the morning when lifts open and in the late afternoon when day visitors return. In winter the station links to snow conditions, in summer to hiking and mountain biking traffic. Clouds often move through the valley quickly, so the view can change within minutes.
The Pitztal has a mountain climate, with cool nights year-round and considerably more snow in winter than the lowlands. Winter suits skiing and summer suits hiking, with late spring and early autumn often quieter. The valley is reached by road from Imst, and nearby cameras on the same lift system show the middle station, the Panoramabahn and the Zirbenbahn if you want to compare conditions higher up.
