This live camera shows Tinos, an island in the South Aegean Sea of Greece. Open it to see the view as it is now, along with local time and the weather in Tinos before you plan a visit or a day on the water.
Tinos lies in the Cyclades, between Mykonos and Andros. It is best known for its pilgrimage church of Panagia Evangelistria, which draws visitors every August, and for its marble craftsmanship and villages of whitewashed houses with dovecotes. The landscape is hilly and dry, with terraced valleys and small harbours that look out across the sea toward neighbouring islands.
The camera is most useful for judging conditions: sea state, cloud cover and how busy the waterfront is at different hours. Morning and late afternoon usually bring softer light and calmer water, while midday often shows the strongest sun. Views of this kind change a lot with wind, so checking the live image shortly before heading out is worthwhile.
Tinos has a Mediterranean climate with hot, dry summers and mild, wetter winters. May to June and September to October are often the most comfortable months for walking and swimming. Ferries connect the island with Mykonos and Rafina near Athens. For other views in the area, the Andros South View and the Gavrio camera are listed nearby.
