About Courmayeur

Courmayeur is a resort town in the Aosta Valley in northwest Italy, lying at the foot of the Mont Blanc massif near the Italian end of the Mont Blanc Tunnel. The valley is known for its alpine scenery, glaciers, mountain huts and a long tradition of skiing and walking. The town mixes a historic centre with a more modern resort area, and the surrounding slopes rise steeply above the valley floor.
