This live stream follows the beach at Pattaya on the Gulf of Thailand coast. It is useful for checking how the sea and sky look before you plan a day or an evening out. The page also shows local time and current weather for the area.
Pattaya is a resort city in Chon Buri province, about two hours' drive southeast of Bangkok. It grew from a fishing village into one of Thailand's best known seaside destinations, with a long bay, a busy promenade and a lively nightlife scene. The surrounding coast has hills, small islands and a mix of modern hotels and older Thai neighbourhoods.
The camera is set on the beach, so the main things to watch are the water, the sand and the sky over the bay. Depending on the view, you may see boats offshore and people walking along the shore. Mornings tend to be calm and clear, while afternoons often bring more clouds and occasional rain showers, especially during the wet season.
Pattaya is hot and humid all year, with the cooler and drier months from November to February generally the most comfortable for a beach visit. The rainy season runs roughly from May to October. For a wider view of the coast, the Koh Chang camera is about 179 km away, across the Thai Gulf coastline.
