This camera points at the lodge area of Beaver Mountain, a ski resort in northern Utah at about 2,200 metres. Check it before you drive up to see snow cover, lift activity and the general weather on the mountain, which can differ a lot from the valley below.
Beaver Mountain sits in the Wasatch Range above Beaver Creek, near the town of Logan in the Cache Valley. It is one of the older ski areas in Utah and is known for uncrowded runs, a family-friendly atmosphere and deep powder after storms. The surrounding forests and high ridges give the area a quiet, rugged character that feels far from the big resorts further south.
The view is tied to the lodge and the slopes around it, so the most interesting moments tend to be early mornings after fresh snowfall and busy weekend afternoons in winter. In summer the same view may show green slopes, hikers and changing mountain light. Conditions can shift quickly at this altitude, so watching the sky and cloud cover in the live view can tell you a lot about what the mountain is doing.
Winter is the main season here, typically from late November into spring, while summer is milder and suits hiking and scenic drives. Expect cold nights and changeable weather at altitude, even when the valley is calm. Nearby you can compare conditions at Beaver Ski on the same mountain, and see Logan and Cache Valley, both about 34 km away, for a broader picture of the region.
