About Breckenridge
Breckenridge sits in Summit County in central Colorado, at an elevation of about 3,128 metres. It grew from a 19th century mining settlement into one of the best known ski resorts in the American West. Its historic Main Street of preserved wooden buildings remains the heart of the town, and the surrounding peaks, forests and alpine lakes give it a strong mountain character throughout the year.
