🇮🇹 Trentino-South Tyrol · Italy
This live camera looks out over the Seis am Schlern area in the Dolomites of South Tyrol, where the Schlern massif is the dominant landmark. Watch current conditions before a hike or drive, or simply check how the mountains look today.
Seis am Schlern, known in Italian as Siusi allo Sciliar, sits at the foot of the Schlern, a dramatic limestone mountain rising above the Alpe di Siusi, one of Europe's largest high alpine meadows. The village is part of the German-speaking culture of South Tyrol, and the landscape combines pastures, larch forests and sheer dolomite walls that change colour with the light.
Depending on the view, you may see the Schlern's cliffs, the meadows below and the cloud movement typical of the Dolomites. Clear mornings often give the sharpest outlines of the peaks, while afternoon thunderstorms are common in summer and can build quickly over the mountains. Sunrise and sunset are usually the most atmospheric moments to watch.
Summer is the main season for walking and cable cars on the Alpe di Siusi, while winter brings skiing and snowshoe trails. Nearby cameras on this site cover the Puflatsch and Florianlift mountain stations, as well as Carezza and Monte Pana, so you can compare conditions across several slopes before you set out.
